Anamoose, ND | Just my $0.02 worth. Save the time, money and hassle of windscreens in favor of a good set of Ai nozzles. (I like Teejet AIXR’s). I had windscreens on a Summers sprayer and I took them off. Two things I didn’t like were the lack of visibility of the nozzles and to me it seemed once you hit a certain speed the fines would begin to swirl up into the air behind the boom. I imagine the screens would act like a wing with air moving over it which at enough speed it pulls the fines up into the air where it can drift. | |
