| Hi. We have two EZ-Steers that we use with EZ-Guide 500s. They came originally with EZ-Guide Pluses. So they had version 3.0 firmware, version 3.0 firmware is for the EZ-Guide Plus only. You need version 4.0 firmware for the EZ-Guide 500 and any thing newer than that. With the EZ-Guide 500 if you connect a T2 with version 3.0 firmware it will say on screen you need to update the firmware, I don't no if the newer displays still do that. For ours I have a old laptop with windows 7 that has a DB9 port on the back that I use for updating the EZ-Steer T2s using the EZ-Toolbox program. | |
