| How easy does the land drain? Do you have tile? Surface drainage? Do you deal with potholes holding water for extended periods of time? Water retention is a good thing, until it isn't. Here, it doesn't matter what tillage practice you use. If it's a wet spring, your gonna deal with mud. And how much prevent plant you end up with oftenis determined by what tillage practice you use and whether you have adequate drainage or not. | |
