Simbase is just the carrier
More like a "Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) is a wireless service provider that leases network infrastructure from major carriers (like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) to offer mobile services under their own brand, often at lower prices without contracts."
And, Simbase would have no control of the carriers.....but their contracts with the carriers may or may not include a Committed Information Rate (CIR) clause. In other words in consumer speak, those with postpaid plans have priority over those with prepaid plans. With "IoT devices," I'm not familiar with how data priority works, when the network is busy, but I would not be surprised when a tower is busy, a low priority. .
>reasonable latency
RTK base station using fiber, and packets going to Germany and back, about or less than 1 second to the rover on Verizon
