Subject: Ag Leader Updates

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
In checking the Ag Leader website, I notice that V 12.2 became available yesterday 3/10/2026 for my InCommand 1200s. There are other updates as well that do not pertain to me.

Since I don't use a cloud connection, I perform my updates the old fashioned way by downloading on my office computer and copying to a USB stick. I then hand carry the USB stick to each system and perform a manual update.

I have downloaded V 12.2 to this computer and copied it to a USB stick. It appears to contain a new update for my Steady Steer Module as part of the update. As usual any other module updates should be included in the package.

The update release notes seem to suggest that a recalibration of the steering system might be needed yesterday although I don't see that today. I guess we will just try ours and do a recalibration if there is some problem.

Last week we dug the Hagie out and installed a Steady Steer swap kit in it. I installed V 12.0 in its InCommand since that was current then. At that point it asked permission to update the Steady Steer Steering Controller Module.

I agree and did a road test on a gravel road which seemed fine.

I expect to install the V 12.2 update soon and allow the other updates that might be suggested. A recalibration of the Steering Control Modules might be needed but are not very difficult to perform given enough space to perform the procedure.

These new updates may or may not be useful if your equipment has not changed but I always update anyway.
