Have a new to me '20 S97 with the Tyton monitor/display. Previous owner had an Ag Leader that he kept.
What would be the advantage to an Ag Leader In Command 1200 over the Tyton and why would I want an Ag Leader ?
Previous machine had a c2100.
I have absolutely no experience with the Tyton display at this time.
S97 has the Auto Guide option and Trimble Guidance option along with Ag Leader Yeild sensor on the build sheet.
Thanks
The Yield Monitor will work as is, the main reason for wanting the Ag Leader display is if you plant with Ag Leader monitoring OR something that tracks variety that could input that variety mapping into the Ag Leader for Automatic Variety tracking. Other than that, the ISO yield monitor that is loaded in the back side of the Tyton will handle all other Yield functions EXCEPT Automatic Variety tracking.
I have customers that do both.
Also, if you prefer the Precision Yield Sense system, any Gleaner S9 or FENDT Ideal combine that has the AG Leader yield option can be outfitted with the new Precision YieldSight system. Basically a simpler install of their YieldSense system for the AGCO combines that allows you to use the 20/20 in your combine for the Precision Yield data algorithm to make more use of your 20/20. That's basically just been release, but I've talked to some dealers that ran it last fall and customers really liked it.
Pretty much can't go wrong with the yield monitor options we have available.
