Subject: RE: Ag leader liquid control harness question

North Central Iowa
Just to add some information on pressure sensors if one ever updates to newer Ag Leader modules from the LPCM. For the L2, a pressure sensor is still not required, but if you use one on the boom line, it can use a minimum pressure setting instead of the minimum flow scheme that the LPCM uses. Also can be setup to operate in a pressure control scheme if the flow rate is below accurate readings of a particular flow meter (don't know much about this mode of operation, but its in the manual). The InCommands will also display information about the droplet size if one inputs your nozzles being used, maybe not strictly useful for experienced operators but gives some nice visual feedback. Then for RightSpot, a pressure sensor is required.

I originally added a pressure sensor to my pull sprayer when using an EzGuide 500 and EZ-Boom. A lot less useful than I anticipated as it only displayed the pressure when showing an overlay which blocked a decent portion of the normal guidance screen (manuals were vague on this). Still use same sprayer and it actually was useful when I switched to the Ag Leader L2 w/ an InCommand. Now in the process of switching my same sprayer to RightSpot. When using the LPCM, a pressure sensor may not be all that helpful if you have a large, easy to see and read analog gauge. But if not a convenient place for an analog gauge, the pressure sensor reading right on the display would be handy. My first pull sprayer had a Teejet manual switch box and a pressure gauge right in the cab.
