NW IL | I'm looking at a tractor that would come with a Trimble 2050 with FMX Plus.
Currently the planter is set up to run off an FMX1000 (section control, seeding rate, and monitoring) Steering is through a Pro700.
That got me to thinking about what it would take if I wanted to run the planter off the 2050 display? Is there any advantage to that over the FMX1000?
Different question, how hard is it to pull the GPS lines off the Pro700 to put into the 2050 if I wanted to keep it in the new tractor and do in season passes with that tractor?
How can I see what unlocks the 2050 has?
