East Central, Nebraska | in regards to what you were told about the 'north' thing. typically we have only seed that when dealing with deere vs. everything else, and even then if the lines were converted properly then i don't think i have ever seen a problem. the biggest thing would be what kind of correction source (rtk, terrastar, rtx) both units are using and which datum they are set to. digifarm uses and recommends NAD83, other than that i should work for what your wanting to do. like stated above, if your wanting to share guidance lines in real time that is a little more than a challenge, but if your like most and use the same guidance lines year after year then you could load all lines into each monitor prior to the year starting and be set to go. you could add them daily if you wanted, just nice to have them setup to go when your ready.
from the information your giving, you did not mention what the novatel unit is using for corrections as you stated the trimble is using digifarm. if the novatel is using waas then that will definitely be your biggest hurdle.
