Your 6000 is fine on SF1. 

You don't need any additional activations to run the rate controller. If you get the G5 Plus the section control is included along with autotrac

Don't get the "essentials" version of any of the G5 screens as that's the cheaper purchase price but then paying yearly. Get the higher priced one up front and be done
