SW MN | Your 6000 receiver will work just fine with sf1. 7000 might warm up a smidge faster is about it.
Your rate controller with work with either without any extra activations unless you need section control.
As far as g5 vs g5 plus, I think the g5 plus offers a few advantages to make it work it in my operation. When they talk about how much faster the G5 plus is, that apparently does not apply to the g5. It has a much more powerful processor. The g5 plus can be used with an extended monitor and the g5 cannot. This doesn't make any sense to me but that is what I was told. The G5 plus is typically priced with auto trac and section control built in to the price, while the g5 is not. If you plan on adding these things anyway the price difference is minimal. In my eyes a g5 doesn't really do much that the previous gen 4 screens could do. | |
