Malta, Illinois | I don’t think most people are championing anything. I think many in the GOP are realizing that parts of the Trump agenda are jeopardizing the midterms this fall. That doesn’t mean they necessarily disagree with everything the President is doing. It means they believe his actions are putting at risk control of both houses. Losing control of the House would be bad. Losing control of both houses would be catastrophic. Let’s not even think about a dem winning the WH in 2028. He needs to pump the brakes a bit and concentrate on midterms so as not to jeopardize his entire agenda moving forward. I agree with the poster above. Some heavy hitters in the party are getting spooked. | |
