Amen!!!! My broker called me in the middle of harvest and said they had DE on their buy list. I don't have a big opinion of Deere either way, but for the most part I don't buy much of their equipment. However their fan base is crazy loyal and combined with their solid products and product development it makes sense, similar to companies like Motorola, Coca Cola, etc. I always said Deere could buy a $1000 Harbor Freight grass mower, paint it green and yellow and charge $5000 and guys would stand in line a week to give up their first born to buy one at that price. I was skeptical, but my broker has always been solid so I went with it. Never thought I would make $200/share on it in 4 months. Only mistake was not buying it in my Roth account. |
