NC South Dakota | Brazil is over 30% Ethanol and that blend is increasing.
Big Oil absolutely hates Ethanol. They think its stealing their market, and it kinda is, They own the entire supply chain in some markets. Drilling, Pumping, refining, and distribution. Then they have to blend in Ethanol.....
Nevermind the fact they don't need to blend in MTBE or Benzine.....
Checkoff would rather host steak dinners and organize trips to oversea locations so they can show what great work they are doing.
Subsidizing blender pumps and education on Ethanol would be much more useful than "developing overseas markets" (eyeroll) which is now benefitting brazil.
The only thing I wanna see soy checkoff do is Subsidize Bean Plant construction, but no they want to organize a trip to china......
