That very well may be, I have not read the material you are referencing.
I think what most sensible people realize is that immigrants must be vetted. Covid era migrant policy was lacking in this regard.
I would also think that illegal workers are at a disadvantage regarding employment opportunity - wages and working conditions are likely much better than the home country or they wouldn't be here, but surely some employers take advantage of the situation to some degree.
What will the economic fallout be from deporting.. say 4 million people?
