I would think more farm consolidation will lead to more vertical integration.
In the end it looks like most of us will be sharecroppers or customers farmers for a few large farms. Accelerating that will be devastating for rural areas.
And that is what are ancestors left Europe & UK because of long ago .I hate to see any farm sell to a non farmer/investor, better even if the county BTO buys it. Hard to do on much of a scale but nice to own the land you farm |
