And you are assuming I am blaming only him, back up another generation there. He had three siblings who are not contributing, skimming the cream off the top for his entire life, how would that have changed things? Maybe you need to reread the article, the trust was in his father and mother’s names, and his mother just passed in 2024, and that’s when the brothers and sisters became equal owners in the trust. If farmer Don was ok with it and that was what his parents wishes were, why the hubbub. I don’t see where some people come off thinking the farming heir should get everything. He had a sister that was married to a farmer, maybe they would have liked to been able to farm some of their parents land as well.
