Big Ben - 2/13/2026 21:19  Subsidized doesn’t mean it’s free. Would you pay for a something that wouldn’t benefit you? Maybe it’s a handout to SOME farmers. It’s not a handout when participating nets me less money.



So who is subsidized by "Obamacare"?        The vast majority of the time, any type of insurance that you buy ends up netting you less money.    Yes, I pay for lots of insurance that I hope to never use and it will net me less money than if I didn't buy insurance.

Crop insurance subsidies are a hand out to farmers, you just choose not to participate and that is fine.    There are lots of handouts available to farmers that I choose to not participate in but that doesn't change what they are.
