Northwest Iowa | I just had a meeting with our insurance person today. I’m leaning toward lower percentage on insurance 75 percent and adding the eco on corn. Historically only time eco won’t pay out atleast enough to cover your cost is when prices go high and yield is high so your not going to worry about that 9.25/ acre you spent on eco. If you look at the last 7 yrs eco has paid out every year enough to cover all of your crop insurance premium. | |
