We use a Clark Easi Open at work.

Here is the Youtube video this one is with their 14 volt battery option.

You can get them set up to run either the Dewalt or Milwaukee tool battery platforms.

Easy to install/remove came with a safety cable and 2 remotes.

Only issue I have seen is if you use a Dewalt battery right off the charger it will only move the actuator a tiny bit. A battery that has been used a little runs it just fine. I'm not sure if there is something that senses too high a voltage with a full charge and prevents it from operating full stroke.

They are all pretty spendy for what they are. However none of us are getting any younger or more sure footed as we age. They are quite cheap and save many steps when compared to a slip, fall and injury.

I'm sure one could be made easily if you can find the right linear actuator with the correct length of stroke and pulling force. Some box slides work quite smoothly and easily some however tend to pull a little bit harder.
