20 miles west of Indianapolis Indiana
I’d offer about 10%-20 of farmland price for it. Then start a rumor the local govt is approaching you to put a walking path on it. Then start to offer the parcels that adjoin landowners if they’ll give you 3-4X what you paid.

You’ll get enough of it sold to recoup your money and some. The rest donate back to the local govt for a tax write off
