Sort of answered your own question. You could market excess grain and not have to store it. Even if that means hauling out of storage during down time. Would drying need to be considered? What is your hauling and labor situation?
You are right in that storage set ups continue to grow, and at least locally elevators are closing.
A well designed system will always have value.
Have another bin to go up, concrete is poured. Last one the current leg will hit directly.
