Harvest crews remain profitable by running a lot of acres through each machine.
They prioritize you if you give them a lot of acres per machine so that they don’t have to deal with a bunch of customers in a small period of time.
Hiring a bunch of crews so you’re the little guy for two to four crews seems like a good way to be put on the back burner by all of them. Would rather be the big guy for one decent crew.
