NWMO | All SMOKE and mirrors... (some pun intended) Remember the 90s when Polar Ice was melting and Oceans were rising... And at the same time most that preached this were buying Ocean Front Property for millions that would be under water in less than 10 years... LOL... 30+ years later levels are still the same... Just one big $$$ grab... BEST Diesel example is VW (2015 world record 81 mpg) pulling out of the US... Only to make better diesel engines with double/triple MPGs... My 24 Diesel pickup gets worse MPGs than all other pervious versions only because of regulations not technology... Better injection system, air flow, & turbo charger advancements is plenty good enough to achieve the same goal while improving power, emissions, reliability, the big one is MPGs but that would go agiants the big players making big $$$... Gas engines went through this in the late 70s to 90s with tons of crap under hood... Low power and poor MPGs... Gas engines today look very clean under hood and are making 3-4 times the power with better MPGs... Diesel engines is the future once they break through what Gas engines went through 20 years ago... If they accually wanted clean??? Look no further than those Tanks and Subs in the military that can power themselves for a very long time without fueling... Just no $$$ for the big boys in that game... Hopefully the US wakes up fast in all this BS... | |
