Liquid starter? Sure. Supplement with dry to make up the rest. The point is to not supply the whole crops worth with starter. It is there to be readily available and reduces the risk of tie up. Hard to get some micros avaliable to every plant when crop removal is 1.5 lbs of zinc 35% well you just cant get enough zinc out there to cover every plant.
