Subject: RE: Vevor Hydraulic Hose Crimper

I have looked into this multiple times over the last couple of years. There was a guy on youtube with a good video of it. It seemed to work well in his video. It seems like you would want to add a air over hydralic setup becuase it was a ton of hand pumps.

I am close to pulling the trigger myself. I have 2 air over hydralic units that are on the bridge jacks on my 4 post lift and thought i could quick disconnects on one of them and just use one of those units to power it.

The real question i had for myself was which fittings to buy into. My local napa and tractor dealer both use gates stuff and it would be nice to go buy more ends if required in a pinch. Then i wasnt exactly sure about what hose i would have would work with any fitting.

Stumbled on your post and just started typing from what i can remember.

Edit to add

I probably make 50 hoses a year. Not long ago I had 4 - 1/2" hoses made that were about 15-20 foot long each. I think those 4 hoses were around 400 bucks or more.

Online i have seen hose for as cheap as $1-$2/foot for 1/2". So obviously it could/should pay for itself in short order. Not even taking into account the 30 mins driving to and from town.

Also this is the first time i have seen Vevor branded of this machine. I have looked for vevor brand before but it was never offered . Thats a plus in my mind.
