I'm glad you've had good luck with def Chris. But...... The farther north you go the less sense it makes to require a liquid that freezes on vehicles and machinery. A good friend of mine has a fendt where the def froze and cracked the pump. It then leaked into the wiring harness and corroded it. Fortunately his dealer replaced the entire tractor wiring harness for him for free even tho it was technically off warranty, and they have him a loaner for the 3 weeks it took to replace the harness.

I just had this conversation with some friends. It can't be proven but id like to know what cold costs over a lifetime of farming. And im just a cash crop farmer ( no animals). It's hard on everything including me.
