Southeast Colorado
We picked some this year down to 10%. As it kept getting drier the test weight kept going up. Started at 59 lbs and moved up to 63 lbs. I suspect the yield itself doesn't go down much at all...........but obviously brittle ears and shattered grain has to lose something. We run a Drago head........so I'd like to hope that helps. I think it looks very acceptable behind our machine.
