North Central Illinois | Lock the door and make them call you before you open it. Easy enough to tell a salesman that you don't have time today on the phone.
If you have other stuff going on, how about just saying "well I need to get this project wrapped up today so I need to get back to it." Either they can leave or hand them a pair of gloves and put them to work.
I rarely have somebody stop by so I don't mind a visitor from time to time. If I'm trying to get something finished up I'll keep working while I talk. | |
