If I could field dry and bag that is what I’d do.
1.fast harvest
2. Less trucks needed
3. Less overhead costs and way less hired help
4. Simple and flexible
5. Take the $2 million and buy a farm or fund your retirement.
If starting late stresses you out, plan a fishing/hunting trip in the fall. Seems like its the most money you could make.
