| It makes a difference in how it is used.
If it runs empty part of the time or ran wide open life will be reduced. If it runs straight when it is set etc.
Some depends on the individual auger.
I have ran several Peck augers over a million bushel. They still worked OK but another 100,000 would have pretty much been the end of the swing hopper flighting. One had the hopper patched part way through.
Another one has been rebuilt and still using the original hopper.
I would bet 1.2 million bushel would be conservative. | |
