I like your thoughts here.

I agree on getting a good plan going. But I also like the idea of hearing from randos on the internet like yourself. There are enough different options that it's worth it to get the perspectives of those who have already gone down the path.

I'm a little bit skeptical that if a guy invested $2M in a bin site on the highway that it would get sold for $200K the day after it was set up. Maybe that is what would happen but it would be a little surprising to me. If a guy spends $5/bushel building a bunch of 7K bushel bins with 6" unloads, yeah, I could see that kind of deal selling for 20% or less.

I'm kindof looking forward to having more work for employees to do in the wintertime so that I can more easily justify having them around so I'm not too concerned about needing more labor.

I do think I need to keep in mind that yeah, I'm used to pushing close to 10,000 bushels an hour while the combines are running hard now, but realistically with this kind of thing, we'll just have one combine running while the grain is above 18% and we'll only have two running while it's between 16 and 18% so maybe I need to tone down the leg or auger size that I was talking about a little.
