mercer county, il | Just did a backhoe with this issue last winter. Except the cutting edge and leading edge of the bucket were broke.
Ended up cutting out the floor and leading edge completely, left the bottom braces, took 1/2 plate and cut out a new leading edge, and put a new 5/16 floor in the bucket. Got a factory cutting edge and drilled holes with the mag drill for it, so it’s standard and don’t get put off getting replaced because holes won’t line up.
Time consuming, but it’s stout again. | |
