| You were and still are too cheap. It sounds to me like your former landlord should learn to do some of his own repair work. 90% ofthat the kind of stuff is what most farmers do themselves. I took care of that when I had rental units. When my son got his own units I told him to figure out how to do the things that cost the most and happen the most. He was raised around livestock and isn't afraid to get dirty. One of his first big tools was a roto-rooter. If he has to hire plumbing done it costs him way more than you charge and they might not come immediately. | |
