| I am the only one of us 9 that can call and another will answer the phone, or at least return my call.
I don't really talk to many of them terribly often, but I am the only one of us that can get along with all the others. Seems everyone else has one or two mortal enemy siblings.
I talk to the closest in age siblings the most, the next 4 older than me, but we're all over 50 and have our own lives. I am the only one with school age children, I was last to have kids by more than a decade and I'm the youngest.
We're stretched out from Jersey to Georgia and the Atlantic to Minnesota, so we all have "our own lives".
When I get back East where most of them live I try to fit in a visit with all of the ones that live there as well as mom.
Makes holiday visiting quite a logistical endeavor.
Some of us have our own baggage and are either too busy or somewhat unstable lives and can't talk terribly often to me.
Between the farm and raising the kids I am pretty used up by the time I get home, but it's ALWAYS nice to see them when I do and chat, catch up and see how they are.
