Pedee, Oregon
NuScale Power, headquartered and development here in Oregon, has the only Nuclear Regulatory Commission approved Small Modular Reactor design.

They have not actually sold one yet. There were plans to build a “demonstration” functional SMR of their design at the Idaho facility that Ed mentioned. Twin Falls was to buy the power/pay for the project. Costs went from 3 billion to 9 billion and no one was interested anymore.

Most of the push is the mega-tech corps using other people’s money to pay for their gain. Oh, sorry, shareholder value.
