| There is a post from a few days ago about splitting estates and hard feelings splitting up families.I am the youngest at 65,sisters are 75,73 and 70. One lives a few miles away and we cross paths 1-2 times a month,one nephew lives nearby,I see him about the same.The others live out of state and rarely come back.Their kids mean less to me than the neighbor kids that helped me out with odd jobs and the nephews friends who helped out when I had health issues. If you only see your siblings a few days a year do you really worry about their feelings,I get more satisfaction from giving a good deal to a neighbor that has always been fair to me than a sibling that just wants cash for an exotic vacation. | |
