Subject: RE: Impact driver bits and impact driver

NC Ohio
I would disagree with that. I've driven buckets of screws with my hydraulic and prefer that over the standard. So much so I bought a second one so my kid stops stealing mine when I'm helping him, I don't use the few standard drive ones much anymore. They just have more control, you can ease up on the trigger and almost drive a screw one impact at a time.

Back to the OP's question, it's either bad screws, bad bits, or operator error. With any phillips drive if you're not using enough pressure they are gong to strip out. If the issue is your trigger control a drywall set bit as mentioned will help.
