I agree with the others about having a spreader. When I used to do seed production in government bins, even a disc blade would keep everything from going to the outside. The problem isnt so much that theres pods, the problem is that once you pull the center out all the pods that flowed to the outside now have a steady stream to the sump - they dont weigh anything so they continue to build up. If you have a spreader the pods are more uniformly distributed so the buildup isnt so bad. Also agree with others that you need to try to get them out of the sample anyway. Thats where storage problems start with beans - in the trash.
