I would have said the same thing some years ago, but it isn't that simple anymore. It seems that hybrids, herbicide effects, and whatever else may be in play, have made for conditions when you have to go and the pods are a nightmare.

My combine is 40 years old and the most moron friendly combine to set that I've ever seen and it can be frustrating to say the least.

To the OP. I have always run the beans out of the door slide and don't use the center sump until it runs out. This will take out most of the "wallflower"pods. My bins are smaller, but I doubt it would be a problem with a 10K bin.
