edgerton ks. | I know nothing about cotton. I would like to plant a small plot for our Agritourism farm. I’m approximately KC area. 1. Can I plant early enough or with a short season variety that I could see open bolls by late September or early October? 2. If not could I desiccate it and cause early opening? I would like it early enough that it would fit with our pumpkin patch and corn maze. This plot would not be harvested but merely a demonstration plot for photos. I know cotton is successfully raised in south central Kansas but I’ve never seen any near us in east central. 3. What types of gmo are there in cotton to help on weed control side of things? Guess I need to find a dealer also. Thanks | |
