Subject: RE: What pencils out better corn or beans?

NE Nebraska
Last year, running pretty aggressive COC numbers (as in high inputs), corn was pencilling close to $80/ac better. This year (much more moderate input costs on both), they look dang near even, with corn right about $5/ac better. I used $4.10 corn and $10.50 soybeans. Could be optimistic on those but should be close. All the input costs I know I'm accurate. And yields I went a bit over insurance but well below a 3 year average.
