You guys have to remember pork is compared to chicken. That's what the Other White Meat slogan told the consumer from 1987 to 2011. That's an entire generation. Even though they ended the slogan in 2011, damage done. If only our checkoff $ would've went towards comparing pork to beef...
I took that slogan to mean pork was a more healthy option than beef, not that is was as cheap as chicken? |
