Why I don't have much coinage.
I keep a small amount for an unlikely "end of the world as we know it" for barter. But as far as a lot I consider it same as life insurance. Better to be worth more alive than dead.
Nearly all of ours is CEF, PSLV or PHYS. Also better tax treatment than "collectables".
