Is it not being able to recognize evil or is the unwillingness to call evil evil?
In the case of people I know personally, who in my opinion are genuine believers who try to do the right thing, it is the inability to recognize evil. I’ve just learned how to in the last few years, but admittedly I did not start out with that goal in mind. As with many things, one discovers things he never set out to learn. I’m sure I don’t know half of what there is to know, but the farther a person goes down that path, there is a limit to how much a person can handle, and I’ve about had my fill of it. |
