| I trust Sprott more than most in the precious metals market.
I owned a couple miners for years and years and finally was able to move those. I try to treat metals similar to how Rick Rule talks about commodities. He likes to "buy hate." Buy it when everyone hates it and you will be well positioned when it moves back into favor. That approach takes a lot of patience.
Ironically, John, I am at the opposite end of my career from you. I am young and really trying to grow my operation. But I am protecting my purchasing power the same way as you are. Through some research, I have found gold to have a higher correlation with the price of farm land than corn. I try to save in gold to buy the "right land" as it becomes available. Right now, the gold/silver ratio says to buy silver, so that has been my approach. Hopefully I can roll that over in the next few years. | |
