Fontanelle, IA | I realize that many really, really great corn farmers do NOT participate in NCGA yield contest and simply wring more and more bushels out of every acre on a very high level.
That said, if I look at 2025 yield results, it looks on the Iowa, IL, and IN states that yield averages of NCGA by tillage/practice category are down by maybe an average of 20 bushels per acre? The best yields for Iowa came from Northeast Iowa (not surprising).
On quick glance, Even MN looks down vs. 2024.
