“AI” is at a data block. Pretty much all old data has been analyzed to build these prediction models that are labeled “AI”. Without new data to continue prediction refinement, performance plateaus.
Then consider the hardware issue. A building that is good for nothing else. A short life of components. How many years go by before chip advances make entire data center buildings obsolete, not worth gutting to replace servers that can support capacity of better processors… do we turn a few billion into some precious metal scrap? | |
