EV production is being pushed by worldwide demand. EV sales for cars will likely be 65% by 2030 with current market trends. American automakers are just trying to keep up with the worldwide market instead of being stuck with vehicles that are decreasing in demand.

Ford rushed to lead the EV truck market. In their haste they produced an inferior product.

United States EV sales are plus or minus 10% of total autos. It remains to be seen if EV sales fall of a cliff after the $7,500 bribe sunsets.

The bulk of worldwide EV sales are in China - where the bulk of energy comes from burning coal. Why do liberals get all worked up about coal powered cars?
