Southern MN | Problem is we have grossed $1500/acre. On our organic acres we have grossed $2500. All within the past few years. With today’s equipment any lopsided profit generation is going to be attacked by every producer trying to get a piece of the action, squeezing out the profit almost immediately. $7 corn was fun but we are paying the price now and probably will be for some time. The only way this changes if the next ethanol type demand story comes along. | |
